The A to Z Challenge continues today with the letter P. I am going with a snake for my reptile this time around. Below is a picture of a Pine Snake.
The Pine Snake is a non venomous snake common to the eastern and southern United States. The snake feeds mainly on rodents and can grow between 4 and 7.5 feet.

Very cool
I hadn't heard of the pine snake before. Then, I live in the west, so we don't have them.
Very cool! I have some snake-related posts coming up, so I am going to dig through your blog and reptiles posts for ideas.

This is a cute snake with very nice markings. Is he aggressive or more tame??
Mike,
If I weren't such a big scaredy Cathy, this snake would be good to have loose on our property to keep away mice from entering the house. Luckily the past year, we've had three different cats roaming our yard which might be the reason we haven't had any unwelcome guests.
