R.I.P. Deacon Jones

Deacon Jones was considered one of the best defensive players to ever play in the NFL. It goes without saying he was considered one of the best defensive ends to ever play the game. Not bad for a guy who was a 14th round draft pick from a lesser known school. He was eight time pro bowler and named All-Pro six times during his Hall of Fame career. He was an all-time great, a legend, still respected by many players who play today. Players who never had the chance to see him play, hold him in high regard to the legacy he left on the field.
