Sure they came together as The Yardbirds, Jimmy Page's old band, or The New Yardbirds. They later would be known as Led Zeppelin and they would carve out their own niche in the Rock and Roll world.
They started with song called "Train Kepta Rollin`".. I picked this version because it was near Zeppelin's end. Kind of like a start and end point. If you listen to the tune you can see how the song had grown over the years..

Live in concert they would play Yardbird covers like "For Your Love"
