Blogging from A to Z Challenge: O is for Otago Skink

The letters change and so do the reptiles. Yesterday we had had a crocodile and today we have a rare lizard. The endangered Otago Skink which is found in a small range in New Zealand.

The second skink I have shared during the challenge.

A short video:

Stay tuned, more reptiles coming up next week!

I had a feeling the cat would be a major issue here but didn’t think of the rabbit as being one. Let’s hope they can be saved in the wild.

Mike,

We usually have a couple of skink running around on our front porch in the summer months. They are black with electric blue strikes going down their backs. I'm not sure what kind that is but I bet you do. Anyway, frequently when I go out the front door one of them might scurry away making me jump until I realize it's just a skink. They are quite cute and kind of funny.
