Blogging from A to Z April Challenge: Xenosaurus

Xenosaurus sounds like a dinosaur. Well it might be a distant cousin. Sharing reptiles like real live dragons, giant sea turtles and tortoises a dinosaur wouldn't be too far off. However, Xenosaurus is a mere genus of lizards native to a small area in Central America.

A video of some kept as pets...

Two more left to go!

Mike,

Lizards always make me think of dinosaurs and certainly are distant kin surely. Humans couldn't live with prehistoric monsters but these little guys give our imaginations room to soar while studying them through curious eyes.

That does sound like a dinosaur! But that opens the "did they have feathers" debate... 🤔🦖

I love letter X posts! Always such variety.
It's hard to believe the alphabet part of the blogging challenge is over for 2021. Down to the after survey, reflections, and the "road trip" sign-up.
Plus, I'm taking part in the Bout of Books read-a-thon in May. So much excitement!
