Eric Carle wrote the above story. He passed away on Sunday at the age of 91. The beloved children's book author best known for The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Grouchy Ladybug, and more. More than 145 million of his books have been sold worldwide according to Wikipedia.
Fortunately his legacy will live on for generations to come through his wonderful books. He will be missed by his fans, friends and family/
