Monday's Music Moves Me: Color Me with Music

Today's theme is similar to a theme in January with songs with colors. Revisit if you want for more colorful songs here. I like to think I'm creative, or at least at times. There is a lot of music out there.

If I'm coloring me, I'm trying to "Pant My Masterpiece" and I hope you are painting yours..

The Band performing the song written by Bob Dylan.

Below "Color Me Once" The Violent Femmes

Ben Haggard "Color Me"

In the end we can only hope to see the "True Colors"

Well I hope you enjoyed. I'm going to put the paints and brushes down.

Mike,

I like the way you thought outside the crayon box with your "Color Me with Mewsic" song picks. Joyce was thinking the same as, too. Why didn't my brain work this way? *scratch head* I admit the only song I know is Cyndi Lauper's "True Color". Thanks for the introduction of the other tunes and it's great to see you on the dance floor today. Have a colorific week!

I forgot all about True Colors. What a great song. Thanks for picking it. All of your picks are wonderful.

I like that you went with songs that had "color" in the title rather than actual colors. And these are great songs!

What a great interpretation of songs with color in the title. Thanks for sharing and especially for the Violent Femmes.

Love, love, love, love, love, love TRUE COLORS! It's just one of those songs you got out of your way to hear & it doesn't leave your head for a month. You've got some fabulous choices here my friend! You have certainly rocked the house! Thank you for rockin' along with us this week! Big hugs

Nice choices, I haven't heard Cyndi Lauper in a long time.

Coloring - why not; I loved Venus Coloring Sets of my youth so much and they can't be found anymore. Ben looks so much like his Dad. Great choices; I am a big Cyndi Lauper fan (and love how she colors her hair....)

This was definitely creative Mike and it was indeed a very colorful post! Was good to hear The Band again. I think I might've heard Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" but I can't say for sure. The others for sure i didn't know. Never heard of the Violent Femmes -- interesting name. I liked Hagar's "Color Me" song: he sure explored the different colors!

Have a great weekend,
