A to Z Challenge: Night or Day?

Starting off the second half of the A to Z Challenge. I'm keeping my post simple and short.

My title Night or Day satisfies for the letter N.

When do you write more Night or Day? I write more at night. I am more nocturnal by nature. Most days I am working so it is hard to write in the morning. Night time after the kids are sleeping and the wife is doing her thing provides a better opportunity. Unless I am not working that day then it could be night or day.

Neat fact, this is the first challenge in about three years where I am working a day shift. It hasn't been a big difference since I have been working so much lately it has been day and night shift.

What has been working for me during the challenge is writing the post at night, saving it and then publishing it during the day. What works best for you, or do you just publish it when you finish writing it?

When do you read other blogs? I tend to do both night and day. Smart phones help since I can scan a blog during a break or lunch at work.

See a quick post on blogging. I wish you the best on the second half of the challenge and tune in tomorrow for an O post.

Hi Mike

I write both night and day, whenever the inspiration strikes. What I like to do is have the post written and scheduled, that way on the day of the post all I need to worry about is visiting others and returning comments. It really takes a lot of the stress off.

I blog mostly in the mornings and from my phone. I get too busy at home during the evenings and i dont feel like getting my laptop out.

I write when I have time. Usually afternoon. And as for publishing, I write my posts over the weekend for the week, and I schedule them to go live at 8 AM my time on the day.

Well, since I am unemployed this year I do some in the morning and a lot late in the evening. The keyboard on my laptop died, so once or twice a week I go to the public library and use a computer with a real keyboard instead on this on screen crap and pound out 5 entries. I edit them, spell check them and add photos at home.

Generally, I do most of my writing during the mornings the day before my post (12 midnight scheduled time typically) is needed to publish but for the A2Z challenge I completed all of my posts ahead. This is the first time for me, too. I added additional elements to some of my posts afterward. I'm more of a morning person than a night owl. I find the early hours of the day my more creative, productive block of time.

Oh yeah, I don't believe you voted in my Saturday BoTB. It's mixed with my A2Z post. Happy a2zing, my friend!

Nice N-Day post!
I used to be a night-writer, but I somehow swapped in early morning.
Thanks for stopping by at Nickers and Ink Poetry and Humor.
Happy A-Z.

I'm a night owl by nature who unfortunately works a job that begins at 7:15am, a job that requires me to start my commute by 6:30am and get up between 5:30 and 5:45am. As for blog reading and writing, I do it at all times.
