A to Z: The Firm

In hindsight this Super group should have been bigger than what they achieved. The Firm consisted of Paul Rodgers of Free and Bad Company fame on vocals and legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. The band also featured drummer Chris Slade and bassist Tony Franklin.

A promo pic from the 80's..

The band released two albums in their short lived history. In my opinion the bands biggest hit was "Radioactive" which peaked at #28 on the US Charts..

Here is another song "Satisfaction Guaranteed"

Here is "All the King's Horses"

I remember The Firm. They had some good tunes.

Gosh, after seeing the name lineup, it dawn's on me why the Firm sounded like other bands I listened to...

Nice one, Mike.

Perhaps it was just a case of bad timing. Sometimes things don't click for reasons that have nothing to do with logic.

In the 80's I had switched to almost all country music for my listening. Too much punk rock was abounding at the time. I do remember hearing of the Firm.

That promo picture is wonderful, a strange mix of slightly still 70s and early 80s! ~Liz http://www.lizbrownleepoet.com
