Bobby Vee who has been called a pop hero of the 60s passed away yesterday at the age of 73.
Here is his 1961 hit "Take Good Care of My Baby"...
Vee is a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame the above song was his number one hit but he had several to 10 songs. Below is a live version of "Sharing You"...
Obviously it a loss for music fans and his family. However, he won't suffer anymore. Closing with "More Than I Can Say"....

Hi, Mike!
I was shocked to read about Bobby Vee's death. Bobby was a major contributor to the soundtrack of my youth, a pop idol with a distinctive and very pleasing voice. Bobby was one of the artists responsible for reigniting my interest in oldies during the nostalgia revolution of the late 60s and early 70s, I collected just about all of his singles including the first two posted here. I never heard "More Than I Can Say" but it is a wonderful song. The music world, indeed the whole wide world, lost a great one when Bobby Vee passed away. He will be missed more than I can say.
Thanks for remembering this pop titan, Mike!
And 2016 claims another one. I hadn't heard of him before. Well, not him specifically, but the music, of course.
