It doesn't really matter what kind of club it was. 50 people don't deserve to die and 53 don't deserve to be injured. To the LGBT community I am sure it is even worse. The club was a place they could be free. It was there sanctuary. It was a place of peace, love and happiness stained and ruined in blood.
The shooter was Islamic. Off to condemn an entire religion even though we just celebrated the passing of a radical Islamic that many thought of as a hero. Did we forget Mohammad Ali? Of course Ali wouldn't shoot up a gay club. Just like most Muslims wouldn't. The shooter was one person, a terrorist, and a disturbed individual.
My facebook reaction:
Prayers for Orlando, for the victims, the survivors and their families. A hug for my LGBT friends. The world needs peace.
What makes someone want to kill and hurt so many? I don't have any answers. Just too many tragedies like this happening all over the world.
