R.I.P Dustin Diamond

Dustin Diamond will best be remembered as the character Screech from "Saved by the Bell." He passed away from cancer at the age of 44.

Some scenes from "Saved by the Bell"...

Post "Saved by the Bell" he appeared in various shows, Celebrity Big Brother, and even ventured into celebrity boxing. He also had a stand up career.

Here he is in an interview in 2012...

Once again cancer takes someone way too early. May he rest in peace.

A to Z Challenge: Eddie Murphy

I came of age in the 80s and 90s which coincided with the peak of Eddie Murphy's career. Needless to say he was popular with me and my peer group. Some of his work was well received earning great awards and some earned him Raspberry Awards.

He was among the entertainers who helped make Saturday Night Live so fun to watch.

Some forget he was stand-up comedian, here is his first appearance on Johnny Carson's show...

Of course there were the movies! "Coming to America"

A clip from "Beverly Hills Cop"

How about Eddie as a donkey..

What roles did you like Eddie Murphy as? Do you have a favorite movie he was in? Feel free to share in the comments.
