Congrats to the Alabama Crimson Tide

The Alabama Crimson Tide won the National Title Game dominating Ohio State 52-24. Ohio State was number three heading into the playoffs, Alabama beat number Four  Notre Dame the week before. The Crimson Tide's only close game was in the SEC Championship game where they beat Florida 52-46.

Over the season they crushed ranked teams like Texas A&M and Georgia. Finishing the season with a 13-0 record. In a challenging year Nick Saban was able to keep his team focus, maximized his talent and earned another Championship. Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Congrats to the NCAA Football Champions: Clemson Tigers

The Clemson Tigers are the undisputed 2018-19 NCAA football Champions defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide 44-16.

Highlights from the game:

The Tigers rolled to the National Championship game by crushing Notre Dame 30-3 in the playoffs.

Clemson crushed the Pittsburgh Panthers in the ACC Championship game 42-10.
The Tigers hadn't had a close game since September.

I think it will be fun to see how the other teams wind up in the final rankings, but there is no doubt who is on top!

Congrats to the Clemson Tigers!

The Crimson Tide Prevail

The Georgia Bulldogs were so close to winning their first College Football Championship since 1980. They were beating Alabama 20 to 7. Alabama stormed back. The Tide was settling for a chance to win the game with a field goal but it was no good. The game went to overtime.

After a sack, the Dawgs made a 51-yard field goal. Georgia was back on top in overtime 23-20. The Bulldogs defense came up big with a huge sack of their own. However, the next play broke Georgia's heart. A deep pass for a touchdown and more importantly the win.

A great finish for college football!

Here are the highlights..

Now the Pros take the spotlight with their playoffs, of course there is hockey and basketball too.

Clemson Tigers National Champions!

Last year when the Clemson Tigers lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide I watched a team that did not quit. The Tigers fought for 60 minutes and never gave up. They fell short in a very entertaining game.

This year the Crimson Tide led by 14 points in the second quarter. They were up by 10 at the end of 45 minutes of game time. However, these Tigers did not have any quit in them either.  The Tigers took the lead in the fourth quarter.

Alabama wasn't done they regained the lead with just 2:07 left in the game only to see the Tigers win on a last second play.  Wow!

Highlights...

These championship games are fun!
