Actress, singer Debbie Reynolds died the day after her daughter Carrie Fisher passed away. In 2015 she was awarded a Humanitarian Award from The Academy Awards. In 2014 she earned a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Screen Actors Guild.

This was such a shock and so very, very sad. When I saw them together earlier in the year, I was concerned for Debbie Reynolds, since she seemed to ramble on and I thought, dementia is setting in. Debbie was receiving a life time achievement award. I saw how caring Carrie was with her mom and New she was the main caregiver and that both was so tuned into one another. It is hard for the family left behind but I hope Debbie is happy now with Carrie.
