No big New Year resolutions for me. Sure I would love to get in shape, lose 20, 30, 50 or so pounds. Love to have a more active lifestyle. But I don't even have the time to do the things I do. How can I add more things on my plate.
Last year I gave up soda. Not really a resolution more of a decision. I just decided I didn't need it anymore. I'm sure there are lots of benefits in doing that. I thought I may lose some weight. No I am still at my all time heaviness.
This year I want to read more books. In 2015 I might start a book but finishing one was a different story. I'll go into ready frenzies from time to time but I did not have that last year. Most writers I know read a lot, I jut wonder how they do it.
Yes I will do some cool things and have some neat adventures in 2016. No promises, no expectations but I know that is what I will do. Might even catch a fish or two.

Have a wonderful 2016!
Wow, I could have written this post. Giving up soda is something I did awhile back. For no reason other than knowing I didn't need it. Same goes for me in weight loss, I could lose 50 pounds and be happy, (but still have more I'd need to lose). It's so much work, but gaining the weight is so much fun. LOL
Also I wish I did more reading. I've been trying to get back to that. I seriously don't know how people find the time. But then again, I spend too much time on Amazon Prime, I seriously need to cut that out.
Have a great 2016!
Here's to great adventures in 2016! Losing weight and getting in better shape is the one resolution I always make. Some years are more successful than others. Giving up soda is definitely a step in the right direction. Good for you!
I finally gave up on having resolutions about 5 years ago. I was always unsuccessful and not sure why it took me several years to realize that. I do need to lost some weight ( lots) but i'm not giving myself a time span or I will jinx that too. I have 2 bookshelves stuffed with books I haven't read yet. And yet I keep buying books. I do want to put in more effort to get thru more of those books. I read every night before I go to bed. Sometimes chapters and sometimes just one page depending on how tired I am.
Sodas are bad for us and that was a smart choice for you. I have one every so often because I love root beer. When I eat pizza out I have to have a root beer. I'm weird I know.
Happy New Year!!!
I gave up soda a long time ago, but have an occasional Coke if I stuck out of the house when a bad migraine comes on. I had also secretly hoped I'd drop all kinds of weight, but that didn't happen. So much for that!
