R.I.P Captain Stubing

The Captain of the Love Boat passed away today at the age of 90. Captain Stubing was perhaps Gavin MacLeod's biggest role. The show ran 10 years and 250 episodes. It also spun out a television movie.

                                                 The show's opening...

I'm sure a seven year run on the Mary Tyler Moore show helped his career. Plus some spots on TV history from 1957 to 2011.

He will live on in re-runs on the expected shows and the unexpected! May he rest in peace.

A to Z Challenge: Isaac Washington Pour Me A Drink

Throw back Thursday appears to be the trend on Facebook. Today I am travelling down television               memory lane. Join me and come aboard the Love Boat....

One of my favorite characters on the show was Isaac Washington played by Ted Lange.

Somedays, alright most days wouldn't you want to buy what the show selling. Go off on a cruise with your lover, wife, or find a new romance. Go sail off to a new destination somewhere close to paradise. All topped off by a tropical boat drink created by your bartender Isaac Washington aboard The Love Boat!

Thanks for the break, I will be back with a new post after rewinds of The Love Boat and my imagination collide in my dream world.
