Exciting Games so Far in Second Round of 2014 World Cup

Columbia's 2-0 victory over Uruguay has been the game with the biggest margin of victory so far in the second stage.

Netherlands' 2-1  victory over Mexico was the only other game not decided by penalty kicks.

Costa Rica survived Greece 5-3 on penalty kicks after being tied at 1 after regulation time.

Brazil and Chile were also tied at 1 but Brazil advanced 3-2 on penalty kicks..

The games continue with France taking on Nigeria and Germany taking on Algeria. Will the games continue to be close?

Happy Cinco de Mayo 2014

It is May 5,2014 time to celebrate a day in Mexican history that is celebrated more in he United States than Mexico! For a few facts you can read my post I published last year. It s a day I have been known to celebrate with a Mexican meal and/or a Mexican beverage.

Here is what CNN thinks you need to know about this day...

As you see this year I am adding new videos for a new celebration. Below Jimmy Kimmel takes it to the street last year..

I think the answers have to be offensive to some one...

Any way enjoy Cinco de Mayo and be safe!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Today is the day Mexican beer distributors love. It is the 5th of May otherwise known as Cinco de Mayo. A  significant day in Mexico's history, a day celebrated more in the United States than in Mexico.

Some think the 5th of May is Mexico's Independence Day. It is not. That is Celebrated on September 16, to celebrate their Independence from Spain. Cinco de Mayo marks a significant day in Mexico's history, the Battle of Puebla. Where the Mexicans defeated Napoleon's French forces in a bloody battle. It changed the momentum of the war with France and the war would linger on for six more years.

Here is an article I wrote about five top Mexican beers to help you celebrate! Enjoy! Cheers! Happy Cinco de Mayo!
