I love Warren Zevon! Both contenders did a good job, but Alfie Boe's vocals were more appealing, somehow. PLease give my vote to him.

I didn't know this song. I definitely preferred both covers over the original, however I think I liked the TURTLES the best. Please give them my vote.

I never listened to much Zevon and don't think I have anything by him in my collection. This is a new song to me. Both versions sounded nicely done, but for me my favorite was the first one by Trampled by Turtles.

Zevon was always a pretty big favorite of mine. I could relate to his quirky, sardonic sense of humor. He damn sure could write lyrics better than the majority of his contemporaries. I think he was underrated, but the cool people knew of him.
Both of these covers were good, but I slightly preferred TRAMPLED BY TURTLES. (Man, a person would have to be incredibly slow to get trampled by turtles!)

Such a lovely song doesn't seem to fit Zevon, but The TURTLES do it justice. A vote for Trampled by Turtles, please.
