Monday's Music Moves Me: Father's Day Songs

Monday's Music Moves Me theme today is a freebie and since yesterday was Father's Day I thought I would share some Father's Day songs or at least some that mention Father or Dad.

"Cat's in the Cradle"  Harry Chapin

"My Father's Eyes" Eric Clapton

Luther Vandross "Dance With My Father"

Tyler Wood "Dad"

Hope you enjoyed!

These are good songs and nice to listen to. I thought of a Christmas song sung by John McDermott which, I think, is called "That old Tin Star." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4RIjIaJGC8

Good selection. These songs brought tears to my eyes, especially the last one. For some reason, I missed my Dad (who's been gone over 30 years now) this particular Father's Day.

Mike,

Great playset to honor Father's! Dads are special deserving lots more credit than they get. Kids fail to realize just how great their dads are until much later in life. Being a dad is a tough job. The weight of the world rides on their shoulders it seems at times. Thanks for sharing the dance floor with the 4M gang, my friend. Have a boogietastic week!
