October was once referred to Rocktober by a local radio station and I am sure they borrowed that from someone. Rock and October kind of go together. Anyway, with the recent passing of Ozzy Osbourne it also marked the end of the road for Black Sabbath. Tipping the hat in tribute this month's song is "War Pigs."

The original above. I will now select two challengers and you my wonderful readers. viewers get to select the winner by telling me which one you liked the best.

Battle of the Bands: Come Monday

It has been a while since I last posted a Battle of the Bands, heck up until late Summer it had been a while since I posted anything. Hopefully some folks will visit and leave a vote in the comments. I will back in a week or so and do a post on the winner just like the Battle of the Bands of old.

Well, it is Labor Day the ceremonial farewell to summer. Don't worry the Calander still says we have a few more weeks of official summer. I live in the Sunshine so I will have Summer like weather until October. Today's pick was easy to go with Jimmy Buffett and his song "Come Monday."

Alright don't vote for the original. Instead vote for one of the one's below.

Contender 1: Kenney Chesney

Contender 2: Brandi Carlile

Vote in the comment on which one you like the best! I think I am going to go hiking in the Sunshine. Enjoy your holiday and I will see you soon!
