My NCAA Rankings 2025-26 After Week Nine

 Week eight had more shocks and more major Coaches getting fired! I had most of the ranking's ready but my life got as crazy as the rankings! Week nine ha more coaches fired. Here is how I have them ranked heading into the first weekend of November.

1) Ohio State Buckeyes (7-0) shut down Wisconsin 34-0. Had last week off. Faces Penn State next.

2) Indiana Hoosiers (8-0) stayed undefeated crushing Michigan State 38-13. Throttled UCLA 56-6. Visits Maryland next.

3) Texas A&M Aggies (8-0) topped Arkansas 45-42. Crushed LSU 49-26. Has a week off.

4) Alabama Crimson Tide (7-1) beat Tennessee 37-20. Survived South Carolina 29-22. Has a week off.

5) Georgia Bulldogs (6-1) beat Ole Miss 43-35. Enjoys a week off. Plays Florida next.

6) Oregon Ducks (7-1) pounded Rutgers 56-10.  Oregon beat Wisconsin 21-7. Has a week off.

7) Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (8-0) beat Duke 27-18. Crushed Syracuse 41-16. Visits NC State next.

8) BYU Cougars (8-0) beat Utah 24-21. Cruised past Iowa State 41-27. Enjoys a week off.

9) Ole Miss Rebels (7-1) lost to Georgia 43-35, rebounded against Oklahoma 34-26. Entertains South Carolina next.

10) Vanderbilt Commodores (7-1) beat LSU 31-24. Topped Missouri 17-10. Visits Texas next.

11) Miami Hurricanes (6-1) lost to Louisville 24-21. Crushed Stanford 42-7. Visits SMU next.

12) Virginia Cavaliers (7-1) topped Washington State 22-20. Nipped UNC 17-16 in OT. Visits California next.

12) Missouri Tigers (6-1) beat Auburn 23-17 in OT. Visits Vanderbilt next.

13) Virginia Cavaliers (6-1) topped Washington State 22-20. Visits UNC next.

14) Louisville Cardinal (6-1) upset Miami 24-21. Beat Boston College 38-24. Visits Virginia Tech next.

15) Notre Dame Fightin' Irish (5-2) beat USC 34-24. Had a week off. Visits Boston College.

17) Tennessee Volunteers (6-2) lost to Alabama 37-20. Outscored Kentucky 56-24. Entertains Oklahoma next. 

18) Cincinnati Bearcats (7-1) whipped Oklahoma State 49-17. Beat Baylor 41-20. Visits Utah next.

19) Texas Longhorns (6-2) topped Texas 16-13, survived Mississippi State 45-38 in OT. Entertains Vanderbilt next.

23) Houston Cougars (7-1) defeated Arizona 31-28, beat Arizona State 24-16. Visits WVU next,

25) Navy Midshipman (7-0) had a week off, beat FAU 42-32. Visits North Texas next.

College Baseball

The college baseball playofs are in full swing. This week I have written two articles on them so I am going to share them and hopefully add some highlights.The articles I wrote concentrated on the Florida Gators and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, the same schools I covered for football and basketball.

First up the Florida Gators did not fare well in the Bloomington (Indiana) Regional. You can read my article here. Yes they played a strong schedule but in the regionsal they showed they did not belong. The next article was Georgia Tech winning three must  -win games in a row before falling to Vanderbilt.
