Welcome to the late, late night version of the Battle of the Bands.
How it works: I post two versions of the songs. You listen to the songs and let me know which one you thought was the best in the comments. I count up the votes and announce a winner at a later day which will be around May 21.
Short, sweet and rocking tonight!
The Song: We Will Rock You by Queen
Challenger One: Nickelback
Challenger Two: Pepsi Commercial Britney Spears, Beyonce, Pink and Enrique Iglesias
Yes, I went a bit commercial. Who will win? Nickelback or the Pop filled Pepsi commercial? Remember your vote decides, Please vote in the comments and I will see you soon!

Mike,
No question about it Nickleback gets my vote all the way! Strange, I want a bottle of Pepsi now. :)

Interesting battle, Mike! ☺ Nickelback is one of those bands you either love or hate and I love 'em, especially Chad Kroeger's voice. The Pepsi commercial was fun to watch, but for listening pleasure, it's Nickelback all the way!
It's a definite vote for Nickelback for me. It just sounded put together much better than the commercial.
I'll have to say that this is my least favorite Queen song. In fact, it's a song that I don't like much period. This is undoubtedly because of overplay. I've heard it used so much for things like sporting events, etc, etc. Actually I guess it's not really that bad, but I've just heard it too much.
Rant out of the way, let me continue with my vote. Nickelback didn't sound all that much different to me than Queen. It was a good recreation of the original version.
On the other hand, the girls added some nice touches to the music including a bit of flair and the video was dynamite. What a spectacle! I watched and enjoyed all the way through. If this were a trailer for an upcoming film then I'd want to see it.
I vote for Pepsi! (though I prefer to drink Coke).

Wow Mike, what a neat battle! Although I liked the Nickelback version okay, it was very similar to Queen's version. And I like Nickelback (especially their song Burn It To The Ground: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSf_cs4-E-I ).
On the other hand, the Pepsi commercial was really fun! I liked the different female voices in the song. I know the video isn't supposed to come into the decision and it didn't, but it was really cool! I never saw that commercial before. When is it from?
My vote goes to the Pepsi spot.

Well, the NICKELBACK recording is so nearly identical to the Queen original that one almost can't really even call it a "cover". It's more like a "recreation of the hit".
So to me, this Battle was almost like Queen Vs. The Bimbos. ...And I'll take Queen (disguised as NICKELBACK).

Nickleback sounded so much like Queen it confused me. But I will vote for Queen because they are the first ones to record it. Queen set the standard. Nickleback is very good - best imitation I have ever heard. The Pepsi commercial was creative, but I prefer Coke.
Nickelback inspres the same sort of feeling in people as Trump. Folks love or hate. Doesn't seem to be much in between.
Me? I like them. Always have. I really like their song Rockstar.
The girls were interesting. The video was fun to watch.
That said, I preferred Chad and Nickelback re-creating Freddy and Queen over the ladies.
