Monday's Music Moves Me: TV themes specifically from my childhood!

I missed last weeks 4m! Life happened and it ended up being a really good day. Filled with adventure, sun, rainbows, a boat and a few friends. Anyway I am back for this round. This week's theme is "TV/Movie themes specifically from my childhood." Let me get into my secret time machine and travel way back in time.

I'll start off with my childhood forbidden fruit "Baa Baa Black Sheep"..

My Mom wouldn't let me watch this show and I tried hard to wheel and deal to watch it. I think some of it may have been the air time was past my bed time.

I have plenty of memories of watching westerns with my Grandparents...

"Rawhide" was one of my favorites..

I did watch children's show like "Mr Rogers"

I hope you enjoyed your visit to my back pages of my old TV guide.

Want more? "Friends" is streaming on Netflix. Who was your favorite character on "Friends"? Did you watch "Joey"?

Happy Birthday Lynda Carter!

Today is Wonder Woman's birthday! Lynda Carter turns 65 today. She is the actress who portrayed Wonder Woman on the television series in the 1970s.

The intros..

For me she was the first Wonder Woman introduced to me on the old 70s TVs.

She continued her acting career appearing in several shows and movies. She even ventured into a music career...

Today we thank er for the memories and wish her a happy birthday!

Bugs Bunny Turns 75

Who's older than Mick Jagger? Bugs Bunny by three years. Bugs turned 75 years old on July 27.

Here is one of the first Bugs Bunny strips..

Here is a vintage episode from 1944.."Nips the Nips"

I'll leave you with one more.."Hillbilly Hare"

Do you have any favorite Bugs Bunny memories? Favorite episodes? Feel free to leave them in the comments. Cartoons weren't really big in my parents home so most of my Bugs Bunny memories translate in spending Summertime with my Grandparents.
