We did feed some yellowtail snapper carcasses to some of the ambassador crocodiles in Belize. Yellowtail Snapper are delicious to eat. I did not get to go fishing in Belize, but I did enjoy eating this fish in local restaurants. Living in Florida I have caught this species in the past. With the large reef in Belize the country is a great place to catch this fish,

April Blogging A to Z Challenge 2026: U is for Uxbenka in Belize
Uxbenka is a Mayan Ruins site in the lowlands of Belize in the southern region called Toledo. Dating back to 250-500 years CE.
Above is a video of that site. One of the daytrips I made while in Belize was to visit a Mayan site and I was glad to take a day to appreciate that culure.

Thoughts on Black Panther
Black Panther is another action packed blockbuster based on a Marvel Comic. What do you like in an action movie? If it is car chases, incredible special effects, and battles then you should check out the film!
The film is Sci-fi without leaving the Earth! What if a third world country hid an advanced society?
I also enjoyed the Stan Lee cameo.

R.I.P Warren Miller
When I think of ski films the first name that comes to my mind is Warren Miller. His film caught the beauty of the location, the ruggedness of the terrain and the final productions were master pieces. He was a pioneer in the extreme, adventure sport entertainment industry.
"Don't take life too seriously, because you can't come out of it alive" was a quote from Warren Miller who passed away at the age of 93 last week.
Below are some goofiest moments from his films..
The trailer for his 1985 film "Steep and Deep"..

My favorite quote from him was "If you don't do it this year, you will be one year older when you do."
The film world lost a legend but his legacy lives on through his films.

Into the Wild real ending
In his book Jon had another theory. However, he may have been slightly off and in a recent article in The New Yorker a student may have discovered what really happened. I encourage you to read the article here I found it to be quite fascinating.
Earlier in the week my Mom had posted something about a guy foraging the wilds in Sweden for food. My thought was caution. Where I live there are creatures that can be lethal if you are not careful, insects that can make you itch, and I am sure some plants can do that too! So, I thought it was funny that later in the week I found this article.
Here is a 20/20 segment..
Thanks for visiting, I'll be back soon with a new post.
