This blog spot is the home to my ramblings. I am a free lance writer. Most of my work goes on Associated Content. Sometimes I write what is on my mind, sometimes I plug some of my writing, and sometimes a combination of the two. So, sit back read, enjoy, and we will see where it goes.

Today's theme on Monday's Music Moves Me is a freebie before the month long Christmas music celebration. As we say farewell to November I thought I would go with November songs. Possibly a theme that would have been better served at the beginning of the month. However it is the thought going through my mind at 3AM.
Wyclef Jean "Gone Till November"
Guns N Roses "November Rain"
Tom Waits "November"
The Avett Brothers "Blue November"
Sandy Denny "Late November"
Hope you enjoyed the music! Come back tomorrow for a brand new Battle of the Bands to kick off December!
Bonnaroo is one of the biggest music festivals of the season. This year's lineup is diverse as always. Headlined by Elton John, which might be a surprise. However, Elton John is a big musical name who will appeal to the baby boomer generation. Perhaps the younger generation will discover his music.
Bonnaroo this is your song...
The controversial artist Kanye West is another headliner at this year's festival...
Some might prefer the sounds of Lionel Richie..
Jack White is perhaps the only headliner that actually rocks. Elton John is quite the entertainer and his songbook could fill a festival by itself. Lionel Richie has a catalog of hits and a great voice. Kayne West provides the hype. So Jack White brings the rock..
Vampire Weekend has a band name that could be used for a horror con weekend. Below is their first single..
The Avett Brothers is no stranger to music festivals. Here is a taste..
Phoenix keeps the lineup of alt rock music going..
Skrillex will rock Bonnaroo with their set and return to the stage later with a super jam..
The first eight bands of this year's lineup. I will be back with more posts about the festival lineup.
The 17th Annual Gathering of the Vibes Music Festival has released their initial lineup for 2012. The festival is scheduled to happen July 19-22 at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut. 40 plus bands are suppose to play and time slots have not been announced.
Here we go! For those who love some bass in their rock, Primus will be performing! Dead Heads you are in luck as Phil Lesh and Friends will be performing. Bob Weir and Bruce Hornsby will perform as well dragging jazz great Branford Marsalis with them. The Mickey Hart Band will be performing. 7 Walkers featuring Bill Kreutzmann will be joining the fun as well. So pretty much everyone who was in the Grateful Dead is bringing their current bands to the party.
