R.I.P Ex Bad Company Singer Brian Howe

Paul Rodgers  left Bad Company in the 80s. He wanted to spend more time with family, solo albums, The Firm and other projects would take place for him. Pressure from the record company and Bad Company would return with a new singer Brian Howe who passed away this week.

Howe's first release with Bad Company didn't catch fire. But his second release had some hits like "No Smoke Without a Fire"

"If You Needed Somebody" off of Holy Water

"How About That"

Eight years he served as the voice of Bad Company.

"Hot Tin Roof" was his last single from his solo album in 2017.

A heart attack at the age of 66 ended Brian Howe's life. Within that life Howe carved out an interesting music career with Ted Nuggent, Bad Company and solo items. May he rest in peace.

A to Z: B is for Bad Company

Just rolling into this A to Z thing. I kicked things off with Free's  "All Right Now"  so following up with Bad Company is chronologically correct. At least in Paul Rodgers musical career.

Starting things off with Bad Company by Bad Company.

The next one is "Shooting Star" is one of my favorites...

Sometimes "I Feel Like Making Love"

Ill leave you with "Gone, Gone, Gone"

See you soon with C!

A to Z: The Firm

In hindsight this Super group should have been bigger than what they achieved. The Firm consisted of Paul Rodgers of Free and Bad Company fame on vocals and legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. The band also featured drummer Chris Slade and bassist Tony Franklin.

A promo pic from the 80's..

The Firm.jpg

The band released two albums in their short lived history. In my opinion the bands biggest hit was "Radioactive" which peaked at #28 on the US Charts..

Here is another song "Satisfaction Guaranteed"

Here is "All the King's Horses"
