Allen Iverson left the Georgetown Hoyas after his sophomore season. That season he was named an All American. In the NBA he was named Rookie of the Year, he was an 11 time All Star and the league MVP in 2001. After his career he ended up in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

The great "Kansas Comet," the legendary Chicago Bears halfback, the author of the book that inspired the movie Brian's Song, the one and only Gale Sayers has passed away at the age of 77. The grid iron legend had suffered from dementia in his latter years.
Not only was he an outstanding halfback he was a dangerous return man as the highlights demonstrate!
His NFL career shortened by wear and tear was filled with accomplishments.

He played three seasons for the Kansas Jayhawks. Gale was a two time All American, he was all conference all three seasons and his #48 is retired.
He leaves a legacy of success in life and on the football field.
