Connections are easy to find when celebrating musicians, sports figures, and actors. As fans they become part of your life. But what do I have in common with Absalom Jones?
I'm Episcopalian and he is part of my church's history. He is listed among the Saints and is even included in our Book of Common Prayers.
If you belong to a denomination, who was your first Black clergy member?
