Happy Birthday Jimmy Page!

  Image from Wikipedia.

Jimmy Page turned 73 today. I figure his birthday was a good excuse to get the Led Out and more. Jimmy Page is a good way to start out my blog in 2017 in earnest.

Let's start out with The Yardbirds.."Shapes of Things"

Then a few years after Zeppelin ended Jimmy playing some Chopin..

"All The King's Horses" from The Firm...

Ah the solo album.."Wasting My Time"

Coverdale/Page..

"When the World Was Young" Page and Plant..

With the Black Crowes,,"Oh Well" an old Peter Green Fleetwood Mac cover...

Somethings missing.."Heartbreaker"

Then and more recent,,reunited Zeppelin.."For Your Life"

Vintage "Rock and Roll"

Hope you enjoy and see you around soon!

20 Years Ago: Coverdale/Page

This album came out 20 years ago..

It featured the legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page with the voice of Whitesnake David Coverdale.
The group toured Japan but never made it to the US to tour.

"Take Me for A Little While"

Here is a live version of "Shake My Tree"

Yes 20 years ago this CD was the one I was rocking out too as I was digging out my car from the blizzard before heading to Mrytle Beach...
