Rocktober Music Fest: Happy Birthday Chris Slade

The final push for the Rocktober Music Fest and a short time till I go see a Rock N Roll Show. We start off celebrating a drummer's birthday. Chris Slade has drummed for AC/Dc, The Firm, Tom Jones, Asia and more.

A to Z: The Firm

In hindsight this Super group should have been bigger than what they achieved. The Firm consisted of Paul Rodgers of Free and Bad Company fame on vocals and legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. The band also featured drummer Chris Slade and bassist Tony Franklin.

The band released two albums in their short lived history. In my opinion the bands biggest hit was "Radioactive" which peaked at #28 on the US Charts..
