Monday's Music Moves Me: Jimmy Buffett's Benefit Concert

Thanksgiving week had me moving to catch a couple of benefit concerts and a trip to see my parents. Today's M4 them is a freebie so I thought I would share some of the music of the artists I was fortunate to see during this time free.

Last Sunday I was off to Tallahassee, Florida for the sold out Jimmy Buffett lead benefit concert.
The show sold out in 11 minutes which is the fastest a concert has sol out at the venue. I was fortunate to score a couple of tickets.

The artists were changed a bit from the poster, Jake Owen became one of the featured artists and Caroline Jones was the opener /special guest. She was featured quite a bit as well.

A lot of good songs and as a Buffett fan it was nice to see him tell more stories and play more acoustic songs. It was as you would suspect a good time. I will post about the other show at a later time. I hope you enjoyed your visit and I will be back soon.

Musicians Who Care

I know of two benefit concerts going on today. I am going to one that is a half hour away from me instead of the one that is 5-6 hours away. However, I will blog about both of them today.

Tonight at All Saints Episcopal; Church in downtown Frederick, the California Guitar Trio are performing. Doors open at 7:30 concert starts at 8. Tickets are $20 and can be ordered here. The best part, all proceeds go to benefit Advocates for Homeless Families. I have done a lot of volunteering for various shelters and helping the homeless is a cause dear to my heart. I also love great guitar playing. So this is a must see show for me.

Okay when you think of big time Country Concerts or big concerts of any kind Bluefield, West Virginia does not come to mind. However, maybe it should. The Second Chance Rocks The Two Virginias is putting on another epic show.
