Monday's Music Moves Me: Halloween Version

Today the theme for Monday's Music Moves Me is a freebie. Since it is Halloween week I thought Halloween would make a great theme.

To start off the Dance, the King of Pop with "Thriller"

Dusty Springfield "Spooky"

Santana "Black Magic Woman"

Stevie Wonder "Superstitious"

What are some of your favorite Halloween songs? Hope these helped to get you into the Halloween spirit!

  1. Great Halloween picks Mike. Love Dusty Springfield's "Spooky" and Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" especially. Can't go wrong with MJ's Thriller either...

    Happy Halloween,

  2. Mike,

WOW, you really have a groovy pawty going on here with your Halloween themed song picks. It's hard to pick a single favorite with your choices but if I had to go with just one then I might be leaning more so toward Santana's Black Magic Woman. It's great having you on the dance floor today. Have a safe and blessed week, my friend!

  3. All great songs for the season. I think Thriller was the best music horror video ever made (Not that I've seen all of them, by any means). I had the album at one time.

  6. A bunch of Hallowe'eny goodness here! I think Dusty Springfield's "Spooky" is almost as good as Classics IV's.

  8. What a great selection and I never knew Dusty Springfield sang Spooky! She did a pretty good job. Love your Halloween tunes! I think many of us went with Michael Jackson's Thriller... it was a good one for sure! Santana is totally awesome love his tunes and just anything he plays! He does it from the heart! Happy Halloween my friend!

  9. I was kind of partial to the albums put out by Frankie Stein and His Ghouls. It was pretty derivative music and they sometimes repeated a same song from album to album and just gave them different names. It was fun music when I was in my adolescent years. And I still kind of like it.
