44 years later the legacy of Duane Allman

Rocktober continues on my blog with a stop to remember Duane Allman, A legendary guitarist and one of the founders of The Allman Brothers Band. He died in a tragic motorcycle accident.

Here he is with Boz Scaggs,,,,,

Jumping in right with the music which is probably the best way to celebrate a musician's legacy.

Here he is with Aretha Franklin...

"Layla" with Eric Clapton..

Here he is solo with "Please Be With Me"..

Yes I omitted the obvious. I didn't share any classic Allman Brother tunes. That was by design. I wanted to play tribute to him by showing he was more than that great band. I hope you enjoy and I will be back soon with a new post.

  7. Hmm it seems like your site ate my first
comment (it was super long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I had
written and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger
but I'm still new to everything. Do you have any tips for inexperienced blog writers?
    I'd really appreciate it.

  10. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and
said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to
her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I
    had to tell someone!
